Business Showcase: Introducing Handwoven Browbands

Hi my name is Laura and I am the founder of Handwoven Browbands and we have been lucky enough to be included in Haynet’s business showcase!  We make high quality handmade browbands, headcollars, lead ropes, reins and neckropes, providing you with an original way to show off a bit of colour! I started HB back at the beginning of 2016 after my husband returned from work with a survival bracelet he had made out of a shoelace. I was intrigued with the design and with the options of creating exciting and unusual designs using very bold colours. The cord we use is incredibly hard wearing, strong and washable and is commonly used for the strings on parachutes, hence its name Paracord. We aim to provide a completely customised product that can be matched with your favourite saddle pad or XC colours.

This week we shall be exploring the use of colours and what the general rules are when choosing the right shades together and what may suit your horse and you the best and also look at some of our browband designs and which ones work best for your chosen discipline. We will then bring you some of our tips on creating a trade stand on a budget.

Whether you are a professional dressage rider aiming for the National Championships or a leisure equestrian who loves exploring the local countryside with your equine partner, we have a design and colour combination that will suit you and hope you enjoy our business showcase week!

As a reader of Haynet we would like to offer you 15% off any of our products this week when you use code HAYNET17 at the checkout on our website at
