Well it was Derby day up here in the north and all I keep hearing about is football football and more football... However I have a grin on my face for auch better reason ... Harry and i hacked out today .. fair enough it was only a 5 min walk up the track but I can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel now :)
I was already to tell you all we have had 4 days of uneventful turnout for harry ... Untill last night when I brought him in his leg was covered in blood and his tendons were all swollen .. :( luckily the vet is coming out today anyway!
First day back in the field for harry today lovely 2 hour break from his stable to play with his friends! ... But Praying the others play nice!!
Just got back home after settling harry back into his stable :) box rest with half hour in hand walks a day for the next few days ... But sooo happy he is finally home :)
Extremely excited to get harry home from horsey hospital today :) I.have to get through a full day of work first though :(
Just had the call from the vet ... Harry is out of surgery and it went well just waiting for the call to say he is awake now ... Thank you for all the support over the past fee days
Thank god for insurance ... Just had my horses scan results back from the vet .. and he's had a fragment of bone floating round his leg since November and that's why it keeps getting infected ... So he's having an op on it tomorrow and I won't get him back till Monday :(
Had the worst news ever yesterday ... If my shoulder is to ever get better I have to give up riding... Looks like I'm putting up with the pain then!!
Has a poorly pony yet again ... Infection is back ... And he is off to horsey hospital on Tuesday to sort it out! What a stressful few weeks we have had... :(
After an amazing horsey weekend ... Galloping through fields and finally cracking a difficult (for me) dressage test for my lesson ... I am gutted that the mri scan this morning is stopping me get in the saddle tonight :(
I took Lorraine's advice and purchased some lister clippers today :) they will arrive next week .. so some before and after pictures will be posted next weekend!!
Because I'm on my rubbish phone and can't create a forum topic .... I need to buy some clippers .. any one have any favourites that have seen them through thick and thin?!
Well horsies well and truly settled :) they have both made lots of new friends in their field and look genuinely happy :)
I've woke up this morning aching from head to toe .... Even my fingers hurt .. and there is still things to move from the old yard. This yard moving isnt as easy as it looks!!
I am one tired girl tonight ... But the move went better than expected and you would think they have been at the new place all their lives :) left them happily tucking into their haylage ... Now its time for a bath then an early night!! :)
