What a fantastic week
Nemo has come on leeps and bounds.
Took him into the school and he worked his mum really hard, having real problems with the canter transition i dont think im pressing the right buttons a good friend gave me a lesson and oh my word have i got a lot of work to do. I have set ourselves a goal to get round a course of jumps by the summer and my friend said the goal should be to enter a clear round competition not so sure about that one but we will see.
I even managed to pick all his feet up on my own on Wednesday up until then I was having to get a friend to hold him. I was so pleased about that as the farrier came on Thursday the third time since me having him and he said that he has made improvements so i am so chuffed.
Nemo has been so laid back I even left him in the field without his headcollar on and have managed to get him everyday without any hassle. Need to see how he will be tomorrow though as he has had to go into a different field which has much better grass on so think it maybe a different story. Fingers crossed though.
On another bonus I am not working this weekend so can ride him saturday, sunday and monday, oh the joys of being on holiday.
Well done Nemo this week has been a gold star for you. Hehe. Long may it continue.
