My #5Photos1Day for the Haynet Challenge by Teri Warner

I absolutely love these challenges, it not only helps me share my daily life but also shows a great insight into others lives too.

The challenge set by Haynet, was to capture five photos and post within one day, using the hashtag #5photos1day. We hoped that this would help us all learn more about the importance of using a hashtag and then at the end of the month show us how much interest the hashtag had generated.

I tried to showcase my general day with my photos, my first photo was of my beautiful boys, Alex and Celtic, I snapped this selfie as I was turning them out.  My day on the yard generally starts with turning out, my Mum is normally on the yard first thing to feed and I arrive after I have completed the school run.

My second photo was taken of my riding challenge for the week, I had seen this online and felt determined to give it a go, Ali is not as young as he used to be and is still pretty unfit so I simplified it for him and then made it harder for me by completing it one handed!

My third photo of my five was taken whilst we harrowed the arena, at this time of year it’s hard to find any jobs that I can enjoy with my son, but he loves driving the little tractor with me and despite the freezing cold, loved helping me level the school.

Photo number four I took whilst we were tucking Alex up in bed, Aaron has been sitting on Ali like this in the stable since he could sit up, Ali tolerates Aaron provided he gives him lots of treats and plenty of fuss… and doesn’t get any ideas of actually asking him to do anything more than eat!

My last photo I decided to share was the other love of my life.. a cold glass of rosé wine, I have had to cut back as part of trying to shed pounds and being healthier, but it remains my favourite way to end my day… on the sofa, in my comfy clothes, cuddled up with my dog, my son and if there is room, my poor long suffering husband!
